Od czasu „Kleru” Wojciecha Smarzowskiego żaden polski film nie wywołał tylu kontrowersji, co „Zielona granica” Agnieszki Holland. Film opisuje wydarzenia na granicy polsko-białoruskiej z 2021 roku, podczas kryzysu migracyjnego. Czarno-biała „Zielona granica” to dwie i pół godziny dramatu uchodźców przerzucanych jak piłka przez siatkę, krzyk Agnieszki Holland o człowieczeństwo wobec uchodźców, ale też dość jednostronna publicystyczna krytyka straży granicznej, policji, rządzących Polską i Unią Europejską. Z drugiej strony, polskie władze podjęły się niedopuszczalnej w państwa demokratycznych krytyki filmu, porównując go do propagandy nazistowskiej i zaprzęgając do krytyki całą machinę państwową. O filmie i polsko-polskiej wojnie o „Zieloną granicę” Kuba Benedyczak rozmawia z Marcinem Giełzakiem, współprowadzącym podcast „Na dwie lewe ręce”.
