Skoro politycy i eksperci wciąż podkreślają, w jak trudnym geopolitycznym położeniu znajduje się Polska oraz jak agresywny i nieobliczalny jest jeden z naszych sąsiadów - może powinniśmy przygotować się na najgorsze (Si vis pacem, para bellum)? A zatem być może każdy obywatel powinien mieć przynajmniej podstawową wiedzę z zakresu wojskowości. Ale jaką? I w jakim trybie zdobywaną?
A może to gruba przesada i niepotrzebne straszenie? Może zasadnicza służba wojskowa to zamknięta przeszłość, do której nie ma powrotu?
