Rafał Lemkin to człowiek, który jako pierwszy wprowadził do międzynarodowego prawa pojęcie ludobójstwa. Dzięki jego uporowi i konsekwencji Organizacja Narodów Zjednoczonych przyjęła konwencję, na podstawie której prawnicy mogą walczyć o sprawiedliwość dla tych, którzy już nie mogą mówić. Inspiracją dla Lemkina była powieść pewnego znanego polskiego pisarza. Z prof.
