Głośny oddech, chrząkanie, przełykanie, dźwięk gryzionego jabłka - większość z nas nie zwraca na te dźwięki najmniejszej uwagi.
Dla mizofoników stanowią one prawdziwe tortury. Silnie negatywne reakcje emocjonalne w odpowiedzi na określone odgłosy, szczególnie te wydawane przez innych ludzi (głównie najbliższych), mieszanina złości i lęku, reakcja walki i ucieczki - z tym na co dzień mierzą się tysiące osób. I choć mizofonia opisana została stosunkowo niedawno, jest realnym problemem, obniżającym znacznie jakość życia.
W "Placu na rozdrożu" przyjrzymy się mizofonii, zarówno pod kątem naukowym, jak i praktycznym. Gościć będziemy Martę Siepsiak z Wydziału Psychologii Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, prowadzącą badania nad mizofonią, a także dwie osoby zmagające się z tą dolegliwością (w tym jedna ze swoją i swojego dziecka).
